How it works
MeeNoMee is an audio-guided icebreaker. The facilitator places their iPhone or iPad in the center of the group, picks a question pack, and starts the game. The app reads each prompt aloud. Everyone responds at the same time — hands up for "me," hug yourself for "not me" — and then you talk about what you noticed.
No timers. No scores. No right or wrong answers. The goal is conversation, and the app gets out of the way once it has sparked one.
Two ways to play
MeeNoMee has two modes. Both use the same questions and the same gesture-based responses. The difference is what happens between questions and at the end.
Big Group
Any group size
One device in the center. Questions are read aloud. Everyone raises a hand or hugs themselves to respond. No tapping required.

Privacy — nothing leaves your device
MeeNoMee requires no account and collects no personal data. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted to Northway Studio. Player names entered in Auto-Insights mode exist only in your device's memory for that session. My Custom Pack questions are stored locally and backed up to your own iCloud — never to our servers.

Do all players need to download the app?
No. Only the facilitator — the person running the game — needs MeeNoMee on their iPhone or iPad. Everyone else just listens and responds with a gesture. No downloads, no accounts, and no phones needed for participants.
How many people can play?
Big Group mode works for any group size — there is no upper limit. Auto-Insights mode supports 2 to 12 named players. For larger groups like a classroom or a big family gathering, Big Group is the right choice.
Do I need an internet connection to play?
No. MeeNoMee works completely offline. All questions and packs are stored on your device. An internet connection is only needed to download the app or complete a Premium purchase.
What age groups is this suitable for?
MeeNoMee is designed for mixed-age groups. The questions are written to be inclusive and accessible — no racy content, no gotcha moments. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store. Questions are read aloud, so younger children or non-readers can participate fully.
What is the difference between Big Group and Auto-Insights?
Both modes use the same questions and the same gesture-based responses. Big Group is the simpler mode — no setup, no player names, just questions and conversation prompts. Auto-Insights adds a layer for smaller groups: the facilitator logs who responded "me" after each question, and the app produces a summary at the end showing which players had the most in common.
What question packs are included for free?
Three packs are included with the free download: Free Sampler, Free Family, and Free Office. These cover a broad range of prompts suitable for most groups and occasions. You can play as many times as you like with the free packs — there is no trial period or expiration.
What does Premium include?
A one-time Premium Unlock adds: all current premium question packs (Premium Family, Premium Office, Premium 20s, Premium 40s, Premium Wholesome, and Premium Everything), all future packs we release, My Custom Pack (create up to 25 of your own questions), adjustable questions per game (1 to 25), and voice selection for the app's reader. There is no subscription — one purchase, everything included.
Can I create my own questions?
Yes, with Premium. My Custom Pack lets you create up to 25 questions of your own. The app reads them aloud just like any other pack, so your custom questions work in all game modes.
Is MeeNoMee available in different languages and countries?
Yes. MeeNoMee is available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. English includes a worldwide English question pack as well as localized packs for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. French is available for France and Canada. Spanish is available for Latin America, Mexico, and Spain. Portuguese is available for Brazil and Portugal. You do not need an extra purchase to access additional languages or regional packs. The app uses your device language and region to load the appropriate content automatically. More languages are coming soon.
What iOS version is required?
MeeNoMee requires iOS 26.2 or later on iPhone or iPad. The app is not available for Android.
